In 2002 Los Angeles, young Adonis 'Donnie' Creed sneaks out with his best friend Damian 'Diamond Dame' Anderson to watch an underground boxing match. The thrill of the event ignites Donnie's dreams of becoming a professional boxer and capturing a world championship.

During a stop at a liquor store, an impulsive moment leads Donnie to assault a man named Leon. This altercation marks a significant turning point, affecting both his life and his friendship with Dame.

Fast forward to 2018, Donnie faces 'Pretty' Ricky Conlan in a highly anticipated rematch shortly after Conlan's release from prison. Emerging victorious from this battle, Donnie solidifies his position in the boxing world.

Choosing a life outside the ring after his big win, Donnie retires to focus on his family. He spends time with his wife, Bianca, and their daughter, Amara, aiming to build a normal life away from boxing.

Three years later, Donnie manages the Delphi Boxing Academy, training aspiring boxers alongside his coach, Tony 'Little Duke' Burton. Here, he works to promote his protégé, world champion Felix 'El Guerrero' Chavez, preparing for a big match against Viktor Drago.

Bianca, who has been dealing with hearing difficulties, transitions from performing to a successful career as a producer. This change signifies her resilience and adaptability in pursuing her dreams amidst challenges.
