Crayon Shin-chan: My Moving Story! Cactus Large Attack!

In Madakueruyobaka, a remarkable new cactus species is discovered, its buds producing a craving-worthy honey. Futaba Shouji sees a golden opportunity and announces a branch office of Futaba Shouji there. Hiroshi Nohara is named branch president, prompting his family to relocate from Japan to Mexico.

The Nohara family begins adapting to life in the Mexican town. They sample unfamiliar foods, attempt to learn Spanish, and embrace colorful traditional attire as they mingle with locals. The move marks the start of a cross-cultural chapter for the family.

The town hosts a Cactus Festival in the bustling square, drawing both locals and newcomers into a shared celebration. The festival provides a vibrant backdrop for the town’s integration and excitement. This event quickly becomes the focal point of the community.

During the festival, one cactus bud blooms into a towering killer cactus, followed by a cluster of smaller cacti that march through the streets. The people panic as the plants attack, creating chaos and fear across the town. The threat shifts from curiosity to immediate danger.

The Mayor and townspeople scramble to escape as danger escalates. In an act of misfortune, the Mayor accidentally triggers an explosion that collapses the town’s only exit. Trapped inside, the community must confront the advancing plant threat.

The Mayor feeds Shinnosuke during the chaos, and the boy experiences the urge to pee. He discovers that water can defeat the killer cactus when he urinates on a nearby cactus, causing it to wither and die. This moment reveals a crucial clue for salvation.

Hiroshi and Misae organize a counterattack, planning to flood the cacti with water. They enlist local allies and begin coordinating a mission to deliver water via a large balloon named Sabo-chan. The community comes together as the Madakueruyobaka Defense Group.

Mariacchi and Karorina join the defense effort, lending their support and voice to the operation. The group finalizes roles and refines how to use the town’s water supply to threaten the cacti. Tension rises as the plan moves toward execution.

The next day the defense team advances with their water-filled balloon mission. The Queen Cactus guards the balloon with thick tentacles, blocking a clean burst and forcing the team to improvise. The battle to douse the giant plant is underway.

During the assault, Shinnosuke is thrown into the air by the plant's lash. He discovers the needle of his KB badge can puncture the balloon, and he seizes the chance to pierce it as he falls back, releasing water that splashes the Queen Cactus.

With the balloon punctured, water floods the site and the Queen Cactus withers, causing the cacti that had swallowed people to release their captives. Those inside are revealed to be alive, and the threat quickly begins to vanish.

The threat is neutralized and a sense of peace returns to Madakueruyobaka. The Cactus Festival resumes with renewed resolve and joy as the town embraces its unlikely victory and cultural ties forged during the crisis.

The mysterious cactus species fades from the landscape and Futaba Shouji closes its Mexican branch. Hiroshi is recalled to headquarters in Japan, ending the crisis chapter, but memories of the festival and the defense effort linger.
