Commando Ninja

The Green Beret platoon known as the Lizard Smokers is ambushed by ninjas in the jungles of Vietnam. John Hunter is captured by the Viet Cong while Leeroy Hopkins loses his right arm and Sgt. Kowalsky is attacked by velociraptors amid the chaos. The brutal assault sets John on a path that will intertwine with ninjutsu and time-bending threats.

While captive, John learns the art of ninjutsu from Colonel Yin. Yin trains him in stealth and combat and warns that a red ninja who betrayed his teachings still walks the earth. The lessons plant the seeds for a power that will reappear years later.

The U.S. bombs Yin's compound, and Colonel Yin is killed in the bombardment. John's training is interrupted as the battlefield collapses around him and the time-travel thread begins to loom in the background. The loss foreshadows a future where Yin's teachings echo across eras.

In 1986, Hopkins visits John in Canada to deliver grim news: John's ex-wife Lori has been murdered and their daughter Jenny kidnapped by ninjas working for an illegal arms dealer. The revelation sets a mission in motion that pits government agencies against a shadowy threat. The stakes are personal as well as geopolitical.

An FBI–US Air Force joint operation unfolds in Los Angeles to capture the illegal arms dealer. John recognizes the dealer as Colonel Kinsky, a former Soviet Army officer connected to the ambush years earlier. The mission turns deadly when Hopkins is killed by a red ninja and Kinsky escapes.

John travels to Val Verde to storm Kinsky's villa and rescue Jenny. Along the way, Kowalsky has been converted into a cyborg, a grotesque enhancement that changes the balance of their confrontation. The stakes rise as time-bending threats loom closer to reality.

Jenny secretly places a grenade in Kinsky's pants and kills him during the Villa assault. The death marks a pivotal turn in the chase and reshuffles the power dynamics among the conspirators. Yet the larger mystery of time travel remains unresolved.

Immediately after Kinsky's death, Kowalsky disappears with Jenny, pulling the rescue mission into a new and perilous direction. John must pursue both his daughter and the cyborg mentor-turned-foil across shifting times. The escape foreshadows a broader conspiracy stretching beyond Vietnam.

John battles the red ninja and appears to gain the upper hand, only to uncover the ninja wearing a mask of his own wife Lori. Lori explains that an alternate future version of herself was murdered by ninjas, and that Kinsky supplied time-travel technology since the Vietnam War. The revelation reframes everything John thought he knew.

Lori urges John to save Jenny, and in a startling turn, he decapitates Lori to harvest her energy. He then uses the energy to travel to 1998, stepping into a radically changed future. The act blends personal sacrifice with a desperate bid to alter fate.

John arrives in a post-apocalyptic 1998 wasteland and reunites with Jenny, now an adult who has reprogrammed Kowalsky to fight on their side. Hopkins is revealed to be alive, piloting a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am time machine. The team gathers to confront Kinsky's new plans.

In a mid-credits sequence, the quartet attempt to travel back to 1986 but instead become trapped inside a video game programmed by Kinsky. They must find a way to escape the game world and stop Kinsky from conquering the world with his army. The stakes remain cosmic even as the format shifts to a digital battleground.
