Time Under Fire

The story begins in 1990 when the submarine disappears into a portal. It then returns to a late-1990s attempt to restore the timeline, and occasionally dives into a far-future 2077 where a cyborg-led regime dominates. The plot threads weave these eras together as actions in one period impact the others.

The action shifts from the open sea around a mysterious Bermuda Triangle portal to a hidden dystopian future. The USS Alabama vanishes into the portal and reemerges years later as investigators attempt to trace what happened. In 2077, the United States is ruled by a dictatorship, with rebels fighting to overturn the regime.
