Max Durocher, a cab driver in Los Angeles, goes about his daily routine, picking up and dropping off various passengers. Little does he know, his night is about to take a terrifying turn that will change his life forever.

Max picks up U.S. Justice Department prosecutor Annie Farrell, who is preparing for a significant drug indictment case. Their conversation hints at the dangers and challenges that lie ahead as her work involves high-profile criminals.

Max's routine takes a darker turn when Vincent, a mysterious man, enters his cab and offers him $6,000 for a night of driving to five appointments. Unaware of Vincent's true nature, Max accepts the deal, setting in motion a deadly chain of events.

As Max waits anxiously, Vincent exits an apartment complex, shocking Max when he reappears with the body of drug dealer Ramone Ayala. This chilling revelation unveils Vincent as a hired assassin and traps Max in a life-threatening situation.

LAPD Detective Ray Fanning connects the dots between the murders and the drug indictment case. His investigation leads him closer to the truth, prompting a race against time to apprehend Vincent before more blood is shed.

As they close in on the nightclub where the final target, Peter Lim, is located, chaos erupts. Vincent ruthlessly eliminates Lim and his guards, leaving Fanning and Max in a perilous situation filled with violence and mayhem.

During the chaos at the nightclub, Max takes a drastic step by crashing the cab intentionally, revealing the corpse hidden in the trunk to the arriving officers. This bold act convinces law enforcement of Vincent's murderous intent.

Realizing Annie is Vincent’s next target, Max urgently races to her office. Creating a diversion that allows him to overpower law enforcement, Max bursts in just in time to save her from Vincent's lethal intentions.

As Max and Annie board a metro rail train to escape Vincent's relentless pursuit, tension escalates. Their collaboration culminates in a showdown where Max takes the initiative in a last-ditch effort to fight back against the assassin.

In a climactic confrontation, Max manages to fatally injure Vincent, ending the terror that has gripped his night. Vincent's lifeless body echoes the haunting tale he shared earlier about a man unnoticed on a train for six hours.

As dawn breaks, Max and Annie step off the train, survivors of a night filled with chaos and bloodshed. Their ordeal marks the start of a new chapter as they leave behind the horrors of the previous hours.
