Arjun is a London-based DJ living a carefree life while Anu pursues an MBA at a London university. A sudden summons drags them back to Karaikudi to safeguard their ancestral property and attend to Anu's father's injury. Their paths cross on a train, sparking a journey that promises more than a simple homecoming.

The train encounter becomes a catalyst, binding their fates beyond geography and forcing them to confront family histories. It marks the start of a voyage that threads through memories, secrets, and choices that will redefine their relationship.

In Karaikudi, Arjun discovers his father's diary and begins to read it, nudging the present toward memories of a past romance. The diary reveals unresolved love and sacrifice that shape the decisions of the characters ahead.

The story shifts to 1985 as Sekhar, a village-born police officer, returns home after selection and falls for Meenal. The romance is blocked by class differences and family expectations, setting up a clash between duty and desire.
