Laila, raised in a kotha and performing as a cabaret dancer in a luxury hotel run by Digvijay Singh, receives a life-altering call from her dying mother who reveals a painful truth: Laila is adopted and not her real daughter. This shocking news sets off a quest that drags in the man she loves and a tangled past she never imagined.

Karan, who has fallen for Laila, joins the search for her real mother, bringing a grounded sense of determination to the journey. Their investigation leads them straight to Razia, who offers a pivotal piece of the puzzle: eighteen years earlier, three girls—Barkha, Rajlaxmi, and Salma—fell for their college sweethearts—Sunil (a navy-bound love), Prince Arjun, and Akram. The trio discovered they were pregnant, found shelter with Razia, and delivered a baby who would become Sitara. The plan was to have the first of them to marry adopt Sitara, who was raised under Razia’s care and named Sitara.

As the truth unfolds, the film reveals where these women stand today: Barkha is now the health and welfare minister, Rajlaxmi trains polo horses and is married to Arjun, and Salma has risen to become the principal of St. Teresa’s—the very college where Sitara studied—while all three have drifted apart from one another.
