Vishwa kidnaps Mythili because his obsession with her has grown from childhood affection into a dangerous possessiveness. Since Mythili treated him like a younger brother and was the only person who showed him love after losing his mother, Vishwa developed an unhealthy attachment that he mistook for romantic love. When Mythili married Ragunandan and moved to Goa, Vishwa's obsession drove him to forcefully take her back to Chennai.
