One morning, Frank's wife, Susan, played by Emily Mortimer, decides to set their alarm clock back by ten minutes, intending to give Frank more time. Unfortunately, this small change leads to a series of unfortunate events, starting with Frank missing the ferry.

As a result of the alarm incident, Frank arrives late to his own time management lecture. This unexpected slip is a significant blow to his carefully curated image of perfection, pushing him into a spiral of frustration and confusion.

On his drive home, Frank encounters a pregnant woman in distress needing a ride to the hospital. He decides to lend a hand, showcasing his good nature, but this seemingly small act leads to much larger complications.
