Honey Whitlock is widely regarded as a benevolent icon in Hollywood, maintaining a carefully curated image. However, beneath her glamorous exterior lies a toxic and demanding nature that few are aware of.

During the launch event of her latest film, Honey is unexpectedly kidnapped by Cecil B. Demented, a psychotic director, and his eccentric group known as the SprocketHoles. The group dramatically infiltrates the theater, taking Honey captive right after she addresses the audience.

Honey finds herself in a dilapidated film palace, completely bound, gagged, and blindfolded. It is here that she meets Cecil's peculiar entourage, each member displaying unique characteristics and tattoos of legendary filmmakers.

Cecil reveals his intent to cast Honey in his ambitious film project, insisting that her star power is essential. Initially resistant, Honey eventually delivers a surprisingly intense performance that captivates her captor.

The trio of Cecil, Honey, and the SprocketHoles embark on an audacious filmmaking spree across the city. Their first stop is a local theater screening Patch Adams: The Director's Cut, where they take over dramatically, creating chaos.

Following the chaotic theater invasion, representatives from the Baltimore Film Commission publicly denounce the SprocketHoles’ actions as 'cinema terrorism.' Meanwhile, spectators notice that Honey appears unexpectedly youthful and trendy.

In a bid to escalate his chaotic agenda, Cecil disrupts a commission luncheon, triggering Honey to leap off a nearby rooftop without any safety measures. The daring plunge coincides with a gunfight erupting between Cecil's group and police.

The rooftop stunt results in a tragic aftermath, with Rodney, the hairdresser, dead, and Cecil injured in the ensuing chaos. As police close in, Honey attempts to surrender, only to be whisked away by the SprocketHoles, continuing the turmoil.

As Honey’s circumstances evolve, she begins to form an attachment to her captors. Watching a television special that reveals her past behavior, she gains self-awareness that leads her to reconsider her desire to escape back to Hollywood.

Determined to redefine her identity, Honey ultimately embraces the SprocketHoles and their mission. She vows 'Demented forever' and undergoes a ritual of branding her arm, symbolizing her allegiance.

Honey urges the SprocketHoles to attack the set of the Forrest Gump sequel being filmed in Baltimore. The ensuing chaos escalates into a violent clash with the production crew, resulting in injuries and fatalities within the SprocketHoles.

After the violent encounter, the SprocketHoles retreat to an adult film theater where a sympathetic audience assists Cecil in escaping from the law. This temporary refuge showcases the audience's evolving perception of the group.

As the filmmaking process comes to a climax at a drive-in theater, chaos ensues when law enforcement arrives. The SprocketHoles create mayhem, prompting Honey to famously set her hair ablaze for the film's dramatic finale.

In a dramatic culmination, Cecil emerges engulfed in flames as police close in, sacrificing himself to ensure Honey's escape. Amidst all the turmoil, raw footage is captured while some crew members fall victim to gunfire.

Despite her capture by the police, Honey is taken away in a van to surprising cheers from a supportive crowd. This unexpected warm reception hints at her transformation and the audience's newfound affection for her.
