In a twist of fate, the saloon owner aims to elevate his establishment's appeal by hiring Francis Fryer, a male performer, unknowingly setting the stage for comic chaos. When Francis is coaxed into wearing a dress for a performance, hilarity ensues following a wig mishap, stirring the ire of the crowd. Instantly, Calam springs into action, promising to fetch the famed singer Adelaid Adams from Chicago to quell the unrest.
