Jimmy Kurian Roshan Mathew is a Client Executive at Union National Bank in the UAE. He meets Anu Mol Sebastian Darshana Rajendran on a dating app and is drawn to her quiet, introverted charm. Their conversations span Hangouts and Duo, with Anu often speaking from bed and revealing little about her background, never meeting in person. The online connection feels tender and hopeful, but it remains shrouded in mystery.

Despite the distance, Jimmy introduces Anu to his mother and cousin, and even proposes to her via video call. Jimmy’s mother Maala Parvathi is curious about Anu and nudges Jimmy to have Kevin Fahadh Faasil, a cyber security specialist, dig up more details. Kevin, initially reluctant, agrees to look into Anu’s online footprint. He uncovers a few basic clues by tracing Anu’s IP address, but nothing definitive enough to confirm her background.

Unknown to Kevin, his girlfriend Sanjana Amalda Liz grows suspicious of his sudden interest in Anu and places a bug on Anu’s phone to understand why Kevin is digging into her. Sanjana’s jealousy quickly becomes a disruptive force, flooding Kevin with messages and straining their relationship.

Jimmy relays the information to Anu and keeps her updated, but the moment sours when she records a suicide-note video for him and vanishes. The disappearance triggers a police investigation and ultimately leads to Jimmy being taken into custody.

To prove Jimmy’s innocence and piece together what happened, Jimmy’s family seeks Kevin’s help. Kevin hones in on Anu’s online presence and discovers that she arrived in the UAE through an agency as a housemaid and was sold into prostitution when she resisted. The uncovering reveals a harsh truth: the man Anu calls father is not her real father but a pimp in Dubai who recruits women from India for work as maids and coercively pushes them into prostitution when they do not cooperate. This revelation reframes everything Jimmy believed about Anu and shakes his sense of trust. Kevin passes the information to Jimmy’s mother, and Jimmy confronts the grim reality that Anu did not cheat on him.

With new evidence, Kevin tracks Anu’s last known location to the Indian Consulate General in Dubai. Further inquiries reveal that Anu had formally reported the prostitution racket to the authorities, and those involved were arrested. Anu is sent back to India, a bittersweet victory that restores her safety but leaves her personal future uncertain. Jimmy, meanwhile, travels to the United States to be with his mother, a decision that underlines how deeply the upheaval has affected him.
