Brothers and Sisters of the Toda Family

The story takes place in Japan, primarily in an affluent household with a coastal estate. After the family's financial decline, the mother and youngest daughter relocate to an old house by the sea. The film also follows a character's move to Tianjin, China, during the wartime period.
