Beneath the fight, beyond the fight—become the warrior. Master martial artist Masahiro Kai, once a celebrated champion and trainer, is now a shadow of his former self. After his protégé is killed in a brutal, no‑holds‑barred underground bout by the fearsome Chang Lee, Kai drowns his grief in alcohol, slipping into a numbing stupor as he tries to forget the past.
