Beverly Hills Ninja

A group of Japanese ninjas discovers an ancient relic, a weathered chest, washed ashore. Alongside the chest, they find a mysterious white infant boy, named Haru, who is embraced by the clan amidst legends of a foreign child destined to master ninjutsu.

As Haru grows into adulthood, he grapples with his clumsiness and inability to grasp the complex art of ninjutsu. Despite the hope placed in him by the clan, he struggles to graduate alongside his peers, feeling increasingly out of place.

While the clan embarks on a dangerous mission, Haru encounters Sally Jones, an American woman seeking assistance. She suspects her partner, Martin Tanley, of criminal activities and implores Haru to investigate, igniting his adventure.

As Haru delves deeper into the investigation, he uncovers a counterfeiting operation led by Tanley and his accomplice, Nobu. Unfortunately, he realizes too late that he cannot warn Sally before she leaves, leaving him troubled about her safety.

Determined to find Sally, Haru embarks on an adventurous journey from Japan to Beverly Hills. The clan's wise sensei sends his adoptive brother, Gobei, to discreetly watch over him, ensuring that Haru stays true to his ninja responsibilities.

Upon arriving in Beverly Hills, Haru forms an unexpectedly strong friendship with Joey Washington, a hotel bellboy. Eager to share his ninja skills, Haru starts training Joey in stealth techniques, unaware that he is serving a deeper purpose.

Haru discovers that Sally has been living a double life as Alison Page, gathering evidence against Tanley, who is responsible for her sister's murder. This revelation thrusts Haru into a dangerous underworld aimed at dismantling Tanley's criminal empire.

As Haru digs deeper into Tanley's activities, violent confrontations erupt with rival gangs in Little Tokyo. Amid the chaos, two gang members are killed, and Haru finds himself wrongfully branded as the primary suspect in the killings.

Undeterred by the increasing danger, Haru retreats to his hotel to seek guidance from Gobei. Renewed in his resolve, he pinpoints Tanley's mansion and continues his search for Alison, aiming to uncover more secrets.

Haru adopts the identity of Chet Walters, a skilled counterfeiter, in order to infiltrate Tanley’s secure warehouse. But despite his best efforts, he is captured due to his lack of experience, forcing Alison to rescue him before falling into Tanley's clutches.

Determined to save Alison, Haru enlists Joey's help to locate Tanley's warehouse. As they execute their rescue plan amidst chaos, Gobei arrives just in time to help create a diversion, allowing them to save Alison from her precarious situation.

In a tense moment, Haru faces the challenge of disarming a bomb set in Alison's prison cell. His haste inadvertently resets the timer, putting them on a urgent deadline to escape as Gobei fends off angry guards with impressive agility.

The climax escalates as Haru, Gobei, and Joey confront Tanley and his remaining henchmen. After an intense battle, Joey makes a daring entrance, knocking out a guard while Haru and Gobei face off against Nobu for a final showdown.

With Tanley defeated and the explosive device set off, Haru skillfully outmaneuvers Tanley and his goons, leading to their eventual capture by the LAPD. As the dust settles, Haru reflects on the turmoil and the battles fought to save Alison.

In the aftermath of their harrowing adventure, Joey humorously misrepresents himself as 'The Great Black Ninja' to the press, while Haru and Alison prepare to start afresh. Gobei finds himself humorously trapped in a grappling hook incident, floating helplessly in the Pacific Ocean.
