An unemployed Akash is rejected by a girl who dreams of marrying a famous man. In a misguided effort to prove himself, he throws a stone at Agriculture Minister Samba. This impulsive act sets his path into politics and earns him both trouble and attention.

Samba, initially angered by Akash's act, is impressed by his wit and hires him to escort Nagappa's daughter Shraddha from the airport due to danger. Shraddha's recommendation leads Nagappa to appoint Akash as his OSD. This marks Akash's formal entry into high-level politics.

Shraddha becomes engaged to Karan, the son of Subba Rayudu, highlighting the marriage politics at play. Akash's feelings remain unspoken as he continues his new role. The engagement foreshadows tension between love, loyalty, and ambition.

A series of incidents erodes the facade of Shraddha's engagement and she grows fond of Akash. The shift complicates Akash's position and deepens romantic tension among the main characters. Her attraction begins to redefine political alliances.

On Shraddha's birthday, Nagappa hosts a grand party and publicly hints that Akash is Shraddha's potential lover, shocking many politicians including Chief Minister Gajapathi. Akash rejects the spectacle, declaring his love for Meera instead. The revelation heightens the personal stakes amid a political chessboard. It marks a turning point where private desires collide with public power.

Shraddha confronts Akash, who insists their relationship is professional, claiming Meera never entered his heart. Meera, impressed by his eccentricity and spontaneity, later proposes to him. Gajapathi and Shraddha object, setting up a clash between tradition and unconventional love.

Gajapathi discovers that Akash is the son of his rival Jayanarayan, hinting at a personal vendetta. He proposes a brutal deal: if he cannot kill Akash within 24 hours by any means, he must consent to Akash's marriage with Meera. The clock is set on a deadly game that could seal or shatter their futures.

Akash survives the 24-hour window, meeting Gajapathi again at the deadline's end. Gajapathi offers 5 billion to forego Meera, but Akash accepts and shifts the money to his house in Atreyapuram. The audacious move signals his bold strategy to outmaneuver his rival.

Meera and Shraddha uncover that Gajapathi befriended Jayanarayan and poisoned his medicines with company help for political gain. Jayanarayan is killed by Gajapathi, and Akash learns this from the paternal uncle of the girl who rejected him. This revelation fuels Akash's resolve for revenge.

Akash plans to invest the windfall in development projects for Atreyapuram on his father's death anniversary. He procures evidence of Gajapathi's illegal activities from the secretary to present to the party's executive committee. The plan threatens to topple Gajapathi's political career.

Gajapathi attempts to kill Akash in Atreyapuram, but is met with a mob who knows of his betrayal to Jayanarayan. He is fatally attacked by the locals, effectively ending his grip on power. The crowd's reaction cements Akash's growing legitimacy.

The film ends with Akash marrying Meera, while Shraddha is revealed dressed as the bride. The pandit Shastri prophesies about children and fortune, leaving everyone amused and confused. Shraddha jokes that he had his turn to 'play', and now it's their turn to play with him. The ending ties up personal happiness and political vindication.
