Akash Narayan, Ravi Teja, is an unemployed, easygoing young man living in Atreyapuram who spends his days hanging out with friends. A painful rejection from a girl who dreams of marrying someone famous fuels his urge to stand out, and in a moment of reckless bravado he hurls a stone at the Agriculture Minister Samba, a decision that could have derailed his life but instead sets a wildly unpredictable chain of events in motion. Although Samba is initially furious, he is also impressed by Akash’s quick wit, and to keep him close he offers a job to escort Nagappa’s daughter Shraddha from the airport, as her life is in danger. Heeding Shraddha’s suggestion, Nagappa then appoints Akash as his OSD, pulling him deeper into the political fray.

Shraddha, Raashii Khanna, is engaged to Karan, the son of powerful politician Subba Rayudu, but a series of incidents gradually draws her toward Akash. Despite Shraddha’s engagement, she becomes convinced that Akash has the spark and potential to rise above his humble roots, and her feelings begin to shift. On Shraddha’s birthday, Nagappa hosts a grand party where Akash’s future looks suddenly dramatic: in front of numerous politicians, including Chief Minister Ashok Gajapathi, Akash is publicly framed as Shraddha’s possible lover. It’s a shocking moment that reveals a deeper truth about Akash’s heart and desires, because he then confesses that his real love is Meera, Gajapathi’s daughter.

Meera, Tamannaah Bhatia, is drawn to Akash by his eccentricity and spontaneity, and she eventually tells him that she would like to be with him. This bold move meets resistance from Gajapathi and Shraddha, who worry about the political and social consequences of such a match. Meera stands up for Akash, insisting that his thinking and charm make him worth choosing. Gajapathi soon uncovers that Akash is the son of his rival Jayanarayan, and he senses that a personal vendetta may be brewing alongside the political rivalry.

A formal, high-stakes deal follows: if Gajapathi cannot kill Akash within 24 hours, he must give his consent to Akash’s marriage with Meera. Akash survives the 24 hours and, after a tense reunion, revisits the confrontation with Gajapathi. When Gajapathi tries to buy his way out with five billion rupees, Akash accepts the money but chooses to relocate it to his home in Atreyapuram, signaling a strategic shift from survival to leverage.

Meera and Shraddha dig deeper and uncover a web of corruption that points back to Gajapathi. They learn that a once- befriended Jayanarayan was betrayed through poisoned medicines supplied by a company, and the blame for these misdeeds falls on Jayanarayan, who was killed by Gajapathi for political gain. Armed with the truth, Akash resolves to take down the minister by exposing his illegal schemes to his political party’s executive committee, a stash of evidence he acquired through bribing Gajapathi’s secretary.

Gajapathi’s retaliation comes swiftly: he tries to kill Akash in Atreyapuram, even after killing the paternal uncle of the girl who rejected him earlier. Yet the locals, who have learned of his treachery, rise up and stop him, leaving him fatally wounded by their collective hand.

The story closes with a wedding: Akash marries Meera, and the enigmatic pandit, “Celebrity” Shastri, predicts that the bride will bear two children while the groom will have four, a line that leaves everyone puzzled. Meera then gestures to Shraddha, who is dressed as the bride as well, and Shastri prods about whether they will share everything if they are all friends. Shraddha smiles and replies that it’s his turn to be playful now, turning the finale into a tongue-in-cheek, if ambiguous, twist.
