Beauty and the Beast

In a French kingdom, a spoiled Prince throws extravagant parties and scorns the less fortunate. One night, an old beggar woman arrives at his castle, offering a rose in exchange for shelter, but the Prince mockingly dismisses her despite her warning about appearances.

The beggar woman's true identity is revealed when she transforms into a beautiful Enchantress after being rejected. Out of anger for the Prince's lack of love, she casts a spell, turning him into a hideous Beast and his subjects into household objects, leaving the castle forgotten by the world.

Years later, in the village of Villeneuve, a young woman named Belle feels out of place among the townspeople who view her as odd. Her love for storybooks contrasts sharply with the town, where she is pursued by the arrogant Gaston, a former war captain.

Belle's father, Maurice, embarks on a journey to sell his handmade music boxes. He promises Belle to bring her back a rose, leading him into the treacherous forest where he faces a pack of wolves, ultimately stumbling upon the Beast's castle.

While trying to pick a rose for Belle in the castle's garden, Maurice is caught by the Beast and imprisoned for being a thief. The enchanted castle objects Lumiere and Cogsworth witness this and decide to help Maurice throughout his ordeal.

Concerned for her father, Belle rides to the castle and bravely chooses to take Maurice's place as the Beast's prisoner. Despite her father’s protests, she promises to find a way to escape and protect him.

Belle begins to uncover the castle's secrets, meeting the enchanted servants who were once human. As she spends time with them, she learns about the tragic curse placed upon the Beast and his subjects.

After a fierce wolf attack, Belle and the Beast bond as she tends to his wounds. As he reveals his inner kindness, their relationship begins to shift from fear to friendship, and the enchanted objects encourage their growing connection.

Gaston, enraged by Belle's rejection, plots to marry her by capturing her father, Maurice, and threatening to commit him to an asylum. As Gaston’s true nature is revealed, Maurice’s pleas for help fall on deaf ears.

The Beast and Belle share a magical dance in the grand ballroom, highlighting their growing feelings for one another. However, Belle's yearning for freedom and her father pulls her back into a world of conflict.

Seeing her father in danger through the magic mirror, Belle makes the difficult decision to leave the castle despite her feelings for the Beast. The Beast reluctantly sets her free, demonstrating his deepening love for her.

Gaston rallies the villagers to storm the castle, convincing them of the Beast's threat. Despite the enchanted objects' defenses, the situation escalates into chaos as they try to protect their home from the approaching mob.

In a tragic confrontation, Gaston shoots the Beast, leaving him mortally wounded. The Beast faces Gaston, who begs for mercy, but after releasing him, the Beast only wants to be with Belle, demonstrating his transformation.

As the last petal of the enchanted rose falls, the castle objects succumb to their cursed fates, turning inanimate. In his final moments, the Beast dies, leading Belle to declare her love, which breaks the spell.

With Belle's heartfelt declaration of love, the Enchantress, hidden as Agathe, restores the Beast to his human form. The curse is lifted, and the castle's inhabitants return to their human selves, celebrating their newfound freedom and love.
