Beauty and the Beast

An enchantress disguised as an old beggar woman arrives at a grand debutante ball, seeking shelter from a storm. She offers an enchanted rose to the spoiled Prince but is refused, revealing his arrogance and lack of compassion.

In response to the Prince's arrogance, the enchantress transforms him into a beast. She also turns the castle's servants into inanimate objects and erases the castle from the villagers' memories, giving the Beast a magic mirror and an enchanted rose.

Years later, in the village of Villeneuve, Belle lives with her father, Maurice, who is creating a music box. Belle longs for adventure and is approached by Gaston, who seeks her hand in marriage, though she finds him repulsive.

Maurice sets off to sell his music boxes, promising Belle he will bring her back a rose. However, he becomes lost in the forest and encounters wolves before inadvertently discovering the Beast's castle.

After picking a rose for Belle, Maurice is taken prisoner by the Beast. As he realizes the gravity of the situation, Philippe, Maurice's horse, returns home, prompting Belle to search for her father.

Belle finds her father imprisoned in the Beast's castle. In a moment of bravery, she offers to take his place, agreeing to stay with the Beast in exchange for her father's freedom.

Belle begins to befriend the enchanted servants in the castle, including Lumiere and Mrs. Potts. They explain to her the curse and the hope that she may be the one to break it.

The Beast shows Belle his vast library, igniting a spark of connection between them. Despite being a prisoner, Belle starts to see a different side of the Beast as they begin to grow closer.

Back in Villeneuve, Gaston tricks Maurice into believing he can help rescue Belle but has ulterior motives. He collaborates with villagers to send Maurice to a mental asylum once he fails to convince them of the Beast's existence.

The Beast and Belle share a romantic dance in the ballroom after Garderobe dresses her in a beautiful gown. As they bond, Belle begins to develop deeper feelings for the Beast, despite her initial reluctance.

Using the magic mirror, Belle witnesses Gaston committing her father to an asylum. She pleads with the Beast to let her return home to rescue him, leading to a critical moment in their relationship.

Gaston rallies the villagers to storm the castle, believing the Beast to be a monster that must be slain. In the ensuing chaos, Belle rushes back to the castle to save the Beast, realizing her true feelings for him.

In a dramatic confrontation, Gaston fatally injures the Beast. In his last moments, the Beast shows mercy and does not retaliate against Gaston, who meets a grim fate due to his own arrogance.

As the final petal of the enchanted rose falls, Belle professes her love for the Beast. In that instant, Agathe reveals herself to be the enchantress and lifts the curse, restoring the Beast's humanity.

With the curse broken, the castle's servants regain their human forms and memories are restored. Belle and the Prince host a ball, celebrating their love and the unity of the kingdom, concluding their transformative journey.
