Barb Wire

In 2017, during the Second American Civil War, Barb Wire owns the nightclub Hammerhead in Steel Harbor, the last free city amidst the chaos. She works as a mercenary and bounty hunter, navigating the dangerous post-war landscape. The city is rife with conflict, violence, and lawlessness.

Chief of Police Alexander Willis raides Barb's nightclub in pursuit of Fugitive Dr. Corrina Devonshire, a former government scientist. The police operation aims to capture Devonshire, who possesses critical information about a bioweapon called Red Ribbon. Barb witnesses the raid and gets involved in the ensuing chaos.

Dr. Devonshire, accompanied by freedom fighter Alex Hood, makes a surprising appearance at Barb's nightclub. They seek to escape to Canada to expose the bioweapon project. Their presence sparks a series of events involving pursuit and peril.

Cora's contact lenses, capable of evading retinal scans, become a crucial part of the plan to escape. The lenses are passed through various lowlifes before reaching Barb's nightclub, with multiple parties interested in acquiring them for their black market value.

Barb makes an arrangement with the gang leader Big Fatso, trading the valuable contact lenses for a million dollars and an armed escort to the airport. She plans to escape to Canada with Cora and Alex, but Fatso has his own plans.

Fatso betrays Barb and his gang during the exchange, revealing that he has also called in Colonel Pryzer's forces and police. A confrontation ensues, leading Barb to use a hand grenade to create chaos and escape with her allies.

Barb, Alex, Cora, and Chief Willis flee in Barb's armored van after knocking out Fatso's gang. They are pursued in a tense car chase through Steel Harbor, ending in a fierce firefight and a physical showdown involving a forklift suspended over the harbor.

During the confrontation, Colonel Pryzer is killed after falling from the forklift. Barb Seizes the opportunity to escape and continues her efforts to reach the airport, remaining on the outskirts of the chaos.

Barb and her allies arrive at the airport, where she reveals she still possesses the contact lenses. The team prepares for their final attempt to escape to Canada amidst the turmoil surrounding them.

Cora and Axel successfully board a plane to Canada with the contact lenses, aiming to expose the bioweapon threat. Barb, along with Willis, remains behind on the rain-swept tarmac, choosing her own path amidst the chaos.
