Krishnasamy humiliated Samiyappan at a political function in response to a personal grievance. Earlier, Sindhamani's father had broken her engagement to Krishnasamy and promised her to Samiyappan's son instead. This public humiliation was an act of pride and dignity against the political maneuver that had stolen his future wife, and it directly sparked Samiyappan's vengeful actions.

Samiyappan ordered his henchmen to burn Krishnasamy's house as retaliation for the public humiliation Krishnasamy caused him at the political function. The fire was meant to destroy Krishnasamy and his family, resulting in the tragic death of Krishnasamy's brother who was inside the house at the time.

The honest police officer arrested Krishnasamy before he could take revenge on Samiyappan. Instead of simply imprisoning him, the officer recognized Krishnasamy's determination to fight Samiyappan and redirected that energy toward curbing Samiyappan's illegal activities. He believed Krishnasamy could infiltrate Samiyappan's operations from within.

Krishnasamy became wealthy by seizing Samiyappan's black money and illicit finances. Using the access granted by the police officer's mission, he appropriated these resources to build his own power base and fund his campaign against Samiyappan, shifting the balance of power between them.

Krishnasamy severed Samiyappan's right hand in direct retaliation after Samiyappan injured the police officer who had protected Krishnasamy. This brutal act was Krishnasamy's response to his mentor being harmed and marked a significant escalation in the feud, demonstrating his willingness to take extreme measures.

Sindhamani's father had already promised her to Samiyappan's son before her engagement to Krishnasamy was cancelled. After Krishnasamy's humiliation of Samiyappan and the subsequent feud, the political arrangement held firm. Sindhamani married into Samiyappan's family as originally planned, binding her fate to the rival household despite her feelings for Krishnasamy.

Vasantha left Krishnasamy's home after learning the truth about his dangerous activities and the violent world he had entered. The death of the police officer who had protected him, combined with the constant threats from Samiyappan's henchmen, made her fear for her safety and that of her unborn child. She sought refuge away from the violence.

Sindhamani revealed to Vasantha that Krishnasamy was Amudha's father but had kept this secret to protect her daughter. By not exposing Amudha's relationship to Krishnasamy, she hoped to shield the girl from enemies who might use her as a target in the ongoing feud between Krishnasamy and Samiyappan.

When Samiyappan's henchmen kidnapped Amudha to kill her, Sindhamani intervened by hiding the real Amudha and substituting her own daughter Sumathi in her place. This deception allowed Amudha to escape while putting Sumathi in mortal danger, demonstrating Sindhamani's sacrifice to protect Krishnasamy's child.

Samiyappan apologized after witnessing the extent of the devastation his feud had caused, particularly when Krishnasamy rescued Sumathi from the brink of death. The near-tragedy of his own granddaughter and the realization of how many lives had been destroyed by his vendetta prompted him to offer reconciliation and peace.

Amudha grew to resent her father Krishnasamy because she believed he was a killer. The bitter world of the feud and the violent actions surrounding her family created this perception. Her hatred was rooted in the moral judgment of his actions during the conflict, not knowing the full context of his mission or his true motivations.
