Champak Bansal is a widower who runs a sweet-shop in Udaipur. He frequently quarrels with his half-brother Gopi over business, but the two share a strong bond and mutual affection that underpins their rivalry.

Tarika dreams of studying abroad and performs exceptionally in her final exams. Champak's support helps her secure a scholarship from London's Truford University, opening a path to her dream.

During the school's Annual Day, Champak publicly exposes Judge Chheda for accepting a bribe linked to the Ghasiteram name. The revelation shocks the audience and the principal involved, creating a ripple of consequences. The fallout foreshadows Tarika's scholarship and future.

The following morning, Champak seeks forgiveness from the principal, only to have her tear Tarika's scholarship letter and throw it in his face. He vows to do whatever it takes to send Tarika to London so she can pursue her dream, despite the obstacles. The confrontation takes place at the principal's home.

With help from Bablu, a London-based contact, Champak and Tarika travel to London so Tarika can find accommodation until college opens. Gopi accompanies them as the plan is explained and coordinated. They hope to stabilize Tarika's living situation before the university term begins.

At the airport, Champak and Gopi are detained and interrogated after mistakenly claiming they possess drugs. They are deported and their passports are blacklisted, forcing them to return without Tarika. Tarika remains in London to start building her life.

Tarika settles into a rented home in London and begins enjoying the city's free-spirited life while also trying to fund her education. She navigates new freedoms and challenges as she waits for college to begin. Her independence grows while Champak and Gopi contend with their own setbacks.

Champak and Gopi are directed to a fixer in Dubai who provides Pakistani aliases and forged passports. They return to London under these new identities and are briefly confronted by Naina, a cop. The deception masks their attempt to reconnect with Tarika and their past.

Champak is shocked by Tarika's London lifestyle and demands she leave her lodging or risk breaking ties, fearing detection by Naina. Gopi questions why his brother is so hard on Tarika, but the tension remains. Tarika is drawn into living with her own choices in a foreign city.

The trio goes to a police station to bail Bablu, who is revealed to be penniless. They scramble to gather funds and face growing financial pressures as their London plans crumble. The situation highlights the strain of trying to stay united while pursuing Tarika's education.

Mrs. Kohli hosts a birthday dinner for her, inviting the Bansals. Naina barges in and asserts her nerve, challenging the family's dynamics. The next day, Kohli is found unconscious and rushed to the hospital, where Naina's arrival triggers a moment of empathy and realization about care.

Truford University announces a fundraiser to renovate the campus, demanding 300,000 pounds. Desperate, they consider selling the Ghasiteram family name to raise the funds. On the way to the scrapyard to collect the money, Champak reveals the full family history to Tarika, prompting her to decide to give up the London scholarship and study back in Udaipur, while Champak and Gopi reconcile over the name.
