Shiva's parents arrange for him to marry a well-reputed contractor's daughter and push him to meet her. He attends the meeting with little interest, expecting to resist the arrangement. To his surprise, the girl is Sathya, the woman he admires.

Shiva and Sathya marry and set off on the journey of married life. On the way home, he notices a lookalike of the girl he loves, Janani, standing in the same place he used to see her. He is stunned to realize that Sathya resembles the woman he admired.

Shiva visits Sathya's office and learns that the lookalike's name is Janani and that she is only there temporarily for a project. Dada Giri suspects Shiva is drifting toward Janani and plans to reveal everything to Janani so she will leave. He intends to expose the supposed hidden love to push the couple apart. In a turn of events, he misconstrues Sathya as Janani and targets the wrong person.

Dada Giri reveals the truth about Shiva's secret love to Janani and asks her to vacate the place. When he realizes the person he is addressing is actually Sathya, he is surprised by the twist. Sathya ends up crying and leaves for her parents' home.

Sathya goes to her parents' home after the emotional blow. Shiva follows and is confronted by Sathya's parents, but she defends him, showing loyalty to their relationship. This marks a turning point where the couple begins to re-evaluate their bond.

Janani asks for a meeting at a temple to clarify her place in Shiva's life. Shiva accepts, claiming that he loved Janani before but recognises his wife's love and is willing to wait for Sathya to return. The setup creates a moment of emotional tension between past and present loves.

In a twist, Sathya attends the temple meeting disguised as Janani. She listens to her husband praise Sathya as his wife, which makes her happy. The deception remains hidden from the other participants, preserving the plan.

Shiva and Sathya reaffirm their love and continue their married life. Janani vacates her flat and wishes them good luck, accepting the couple's bond. The story ends with the couple living happily together.
