Karan and Bhavesh are close friends living in Cape Town, with Karan leading a comfortable life and Bhavesh dreaming of marriage. The film introduces their backgrounds, relationships, and aspirations, setting the stage for their personal journeys. Sanjana, Karan's girlfriend, is portrayed as childish and changeable, while Bhavesh prepares for an arranged marriage.

The families travel to Gujarat to find Bhavesh a suitable bride, staying at Vijay Singh Jadeja's home. Bhavesh meets Prachi, Vijay Singh's daughter, and they fall in love and get married. The trip highlights traditional customs and cultural differences in arranged marriage processes.

During Bhavesh's wedding, Sanjana unexpectedly accepts Karan's marriage proposal. Both couples get married on the same night, leading them to start living together. This twist adds complexity to their relationships and future conflicts.

After returning to Cape Town, Karan and Sanjana's relationship starts to deteriorate due to incompatibilities. Karan desires stability, while Sanjana's childish nature causes friction, culminating in her accidental apartment fire and their subsequent breakup.
