Amber Alert

While playing in a park, seven-year-old Charlotte Bryce is abducted by a man while her mother Monica and grandmother Gail are momentarily distracted. This shocking event sets off a frantic search for Charlotte and leads to a series of dramatic encounters for Monica.

Monica initially does not notice Charlotte is missing, but horror engulfs her when she reviews a video she took on her smartphone. Seeing Charlotte stand in front of a black car, she frantically calls for her daughter, only to find her son nearby and Charlotte vanished.

In her panic, Monica calls 911 for help, explaining the abduction and her daughter's disappearance. Local 911 operator Cici listens to Monica's distressed call, but initially hesitates to issue an Amber Alert due to insufficient information.

After driving to the police station to plead for an Amber Alert, Monica convinces Sgt. Phil Casey to issue a vague alert for a black Toyota Camry, despite lacking a license plate number. The search for Charlotte intensifies as the alert goes out.

Meanwhile, Jaq flags down a ride share driver, Shane, who reluctantly agrees to drive her. During their conversation, Jaq reveals her own past loss, establishing a bond and understanding of each other's parental struggles.

While on their journey, Jaq and Shane both receive the Amber Alert on their phones, bringing the seriousness of the situation into their drive. Jaq's attention is caught when she spots a vehicle matching the alert description.

After calling 911 to report the suspicious vehicle, Jaq is disconnected due to a high volume of tips. Nevertheless, she convinces Shane to follow the car to a nearby gas station, where they hope to gather more information about the potential abductor.

At the gas station, Jaq sneaks closer to the car and drops an earbud inside to eavesdrop on a phone call made by the driver. This reveals critical information, including the name 'Williams' and a phone number connected to the abductor.

The driver, Aaron, notices Jaq and Shane following him and confronts them, claiming he is transporting his ill daughter. He offers to introduce them to her, but Jaq's suspicions are heightened when a new Amber Alert with a different plate number is issued.

Realizing Aaron's deception, Jaq calls 911 again to confirm the man's identity. Cici reveals that the plate number Aaron provided was a ruse to mislead authorities, confirming Jaq's fears about the girl's safety in the backseat.

After decoding further information and with help from Monica, Jaq and Shane track Benjamin's real address. Armed with this knowledge, they decide to confront him and uncover the truth behind his disturbing motives.

Upon entering Benjamin's home, Jaq and Shane are horrified to discover disturbing evidence of his past crimes. They find scrapbooks illustrating the fate of previous victims, underscoring the urgent need to rescue Charlotte.

A tense gunfight breaks out between Shane and Benjamin, with Jaq hiding with Charlotte. Despite the chaos, it becomes a race against time to save the young girl even as Benjamin corners Jaq and tries to eliminate them.

Just when it seems Benjamin has the upper hand, Sgt. Casey arrives just in time to save Jaq and Charlotte. He shoots Benjamin before he can deal a fatal blow, ensuring their safety in a thrilling conclusion.

In the aftermath, Charlotte is joyfully reunited with her mother Monica, bringing both relief and tears. Jaq smiles at the heartwarming scene from the ambulance, thankful that they were able to rescue the young girl.
