Jina is a top employee at a call center responsible for handling credit card issues for a bank. However, her mental well-being has taken a toll, creating difficulty in her interactions while maintaining a façade of confidence.

In a disheartening meeting with her lawyer, Jina learns that her mother’s will had been altered shortly before her death. This forces Jina to renounce her inheritance, adding to her emotional burden and feelings of isolation.

Jina returns home one evening to find a woman outside her apartment, disturbed by police activity. She learns that their neighbor has tragically died, leaving her confused as she recalls interacting with him days earlier.

Jina is assigned to train a new employee, Sujin, under pressure from human resources. Although reluctant, Jina takes on the responsibility, only to find that Sujin struggles greatly with the job, leading to Jina's frustration.

While taking calls at work, Jina faces an increasingly demanding customer which triggers a mental breakdown. Struggling under the stress, she eventually leaves the office to gather her thoughts.

In a heated phone call, Jina demands her father apologize for his behavior following her mother's passing. The conversation ends abruptly with him hanging up, leaving Jina feeling abandoned and desolate.

Jina's new neighbor struggles with poor connectivity due to a moving company mishap. Agitated by the interruption, Jina reaches out to Seong-hun for help, further intertwining their lives.
