Alone

On a stormy night in Bangalore, a large tree branch crashes into an apartment roof, leaving residents shaken. The woman inspecting the outhouse is knocked unconscious and later hospitalized, setting the stage for Sanjana and Kabir's arrival.

In another town, Sanjana and her husband Kabir quarrel over not being able to celebrate her birthday together. A call about Sanjana's mother's accident forces them to fly to Bangalore immediately. They travel with urgency, hoping to reach in time.

After arriving in Bangalore, Sanjana experiences disturbing visions of her dead conjoined twin, Anjana, convinced that Anjana's soul is pursuing her. Kabir remains skeptical and urges her to seek help. He arranges for her to see his former professor for healing.

During treatment, Sanjana recounts that Anjana hated Kabir's affection for her and that the plan to separate the twins began when Kabir announced his return. The operation to separate them ends with Anjana's death, and Sanjana blames herself for the tragedy. The professor consoles her, insisting the visions are guilt-driven, not supernatural.

The professor explains that the visions originate from guilt and are a subconscious product of the past, not a ghostly visitation. He urges Sanjana to confront the truth rather than fear it.

That night, an unseen force drives Sanjana into the outhouse; Kabir wakes to find her unconscious there. When she wakes, she is possessed by Anjana's soul. Her fixation on Kabir grows stronger.

Anjana's hold over Sanjana intensifies and she becomes dangerously obsessed with Kabir. The professor senses danger and urges Kabir to monitor Sanjana's behavior closely.

The caretaker proposes performing a ritual to purge Sanjana/Anjana, and the family agrees as Anjana's influence escalates. An exorcist is summoned to confront the spirit.

During the ritual, Anjana reveals she was murdered and urges Kabir to uncover the truth of her death. The haunting shifts from mere possession to a demand for justice.

After Sanjana awakens, Kabir confronts her; she reveals that she is actually Anjana and recounts how years earlier Anjana killed Sanjana with a music box to take her sister's place. Their mother allegedly covered up the truth to protect them.

Following the confession, they consult the professor and decide to burn Anjana's last possession to free her soul. They set in motion a final attempt to lay Anjana to rest.

The music guides them to the outhouse where under the floor they uncover Anjana's corpse, confirming the murder and motive. The discovery raises the stakes as the plan to end the haunting intensifies.

The caretaker and his daughter-in-law descend into the outhouse to fetch kerosene, but Anjana's spirit ambushes and kills them. The professor arrives with kerosene but becomes possessed and attacks Sanjana and Kabir.

Kabir finds the locket he gave Sanjana on Anjana's corpse and confronts Sanjana, who finally admits she is Anjana. He learns she killed Sanjana to inhabit her life and be with him.

In the final clash, the burning roof collapses and Anjana dies in the blaze. Kabir sees Sanjana's soul smile at him before vanishing in the flames, as the professor pulls him to safety.
