During his freshman year of college, Brandon grapples with balancing his studies and his passion for dance. Encouraged by his roommate Nate, he decides to form a dance crew. Their initial search for freestyle dancers is unsuccessful, so they broaden their search and recruit a diverse group including a break-dancer, performance artist, Bhangra dancer, animator, ballerina, and a ballroom dance mom. A national dance battle, featuring Brandon's former crew, Levelz, becomes their chance to prove their talent and dedication.
