Based on a Mahabharata episode and Girish Karnad’s play Fire in the Rain, the drama follows priest Puravasu (Jackie Shroff) whose unfaithful wife (Raveena) loves rival priest Yavakri (Nagarjuna). Amitabh Bachchan appears as Lord Indra. Prabhu Deva plays a demon who kills Yavakri. Milind Soman is Puravasu’s younger brother Aravasu, opposite Sonali Kulkarni.
