Adanga Maru

Subhash is newly appointed as a Sub-Inspector in Chennai. He is egoistic but honest, and he shows sympathy for the public's suffering while detesting corruption and arrogance. This mindset quickly puts him on a collision course with powerful officials and the law.

During a night patrol, Subhash confronts the Chief Minister's son when he refuses to park at the checking point. The son mocks and tries to attack Subhash, drawing in his superior, Inspector Chandran, who intervenes and apologizes on Subhash's behalf. Enraged, Subhash assaults the Chief Minister's son and his friends at a bar, destroying any evidence.

Subhash investigates a girl's suspected suicide and quickly suspects murder. He questions Abhijith, whose mobile shows activity near the crime scene, and also questions his friends Christy, Bhuvan, and Deepak. The boys reveal they are spoiled heirs who have raped and murdered other girls and show Subhash a video of their assault; Subhash arrests them.

JCP Saarangan demands proof, but the video evidence has been deleted, allowing the boys to be released and Subhash to be suspended. The boys vow revenge as Subhash is sidelined. This setback deepens Subhash's resolve to pursue justice against the privileged culprits.

Subhash returns home and discovers his extended family has been murdered, except for one niece who survived. The massacre intensifies his resolve to seek justice for the victims. He steels himself to take on the corrupt powers behind the killings.

Saarangan is bribed with a Porsche Cayenne; he publicly declares the deaths to be an accidental fire. Subhash resigns from the force and vows to avenge his family by ensuring that the four boys die at the hands of their fathers. The stage is set for Subhash to take matters into his own hands.

Subhash kidnaps Bhuvan and locks him inside a car booby-trapped with inflammable silane gas. Bhuvan's father opens the car door and witnesses his son burn alive. The act is intended as a chilling message to the privileged class and a warning to others.

Subhash abducts Deepak and Christy and hides them. Corrupt police attempt to detain Subhash secretly, but he triggers Muthukaruppan's pistol, forcing an open arrest. The confrontation exposes Subhash's unwillingness to bow to corrupt power.

In custody, Subhash reveals that Christy is in a van at the airport. Christy's father locates him and urges him to run to the police, but Subhash has placed an illegal firearm and a beeping device in Christy's bag. The National Security Guards mistake Christy for a terrorist and fatally shoot him.

With technical help from Subhash's friend, Deepak's crimes are exposed on the Internet, and a live video shows him inside a glass tank. The revelation sparks public outrage and pressures authorities to act. Subhash's actions begin to bear fruit in the court of public opinion.

The public is allowed to release chemicals remotely, which will result in Deepak's death. Deepak's father hires hackers to stop this, and Deepak is eventually found and killed when the glass tank is broken. The internet-driven pursuit of justice comes to a deadly conclusion.

Subhash warns Saarangan to check on his teenage daughter's safety. Saarangan realises his hypocrisy and changes his mind, deciding to support Subhash in the fight for justice for the victims. The corrupt network begins to fray as more officials turn against the cover-ups.

Abhijit's father, Sanjay, uses his influence to have Subhash released from custody, intending to strike a deal. The move exposes the ongoing entanglement of crime, media, and politics in the city. Subhash remains wary of the price of cooperation.

Subhash kidnaps Abhijit and dangles him from a rope at a great height, threatening to publicise the recovered video evidence. Sanjay is given a chance to shut down the computer, but he chooses his reputation over his son's life, letting him fall to his death. The act marks Subhash's final stance against the corrupt elite.

Subhash has cleared the Civil Services Exam and becomes an IPS officer. He continues to pursue justice by targeting unconvicted lawbreakers, maintaining his uncompromising, vigilante approach. The cycle of corruption and retribution persists in the city he serves.
