A Scene at the Sea

Shigeru, a deaf garbage collector in a coastal town in Japan, stumbles upon a broken surfboard among the trash on his route. The board captures his imagination and plants a dream of riding the waves. He takes it home with no guiding hand, curious about its possibilities.
