Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s two choreographies are combined and performed to Béla Bartók’s music—his piano collection Mikrokosmos, seven short works for two pianos, and his Fourth String Quartet. The piece takes place in the historic reading room of Ghent University Library, designed by architect Henry Van de Velde, whose acoustics enhance the dialogue between dance and sound.
