Thierry De Mey filmed Rosas danst Rosas in the former technical school of architect Henry Van de Velde in Leuven. The film is far shorter than the stage work and intercuts the original 1995‑96 quartet with dancers from the piece’s later history. It exploits the building’s geometric space; the venue was renovated soon after, preserving a rare view of the original architecture. The movie aired on major European TV channels and screened in art‑house cinemas.
