In Hoppla! two of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s choreographies are combined and performed to the music of composer Béla Bartók, featuring Mikrokosmos – seven short works for two pianos – and his Fourth String Quartet (Quatuor no. 4). The performance takes place in the reading room of Ghent University’s library, designed by Henry Van de Velde.
