Ming returns to 14A after work and finds a male body lying at the door after taking out the trash. He becomes nervous and immediately alerts everyone inside. Faced with fear of stigma and debt, the group contemplates what to do next and avoids calling the police.

Ming suggests calling the police, but Meghan vetoes the idea, worrying about stigma and property devaluation. The group reluctantly agrees to relocate the corpse to the neighboring apartment 14B to avoid police involvement. They start plotting how to move it without drawing attention.

With mops in hand, the four residents push the corpse to 14B, making noise in the process. Boron, an elderly man in 14B, peeks through the peephole and confronts them when he sees the disturbance. The tense exchange ends with a decision to keep moving the body rather than alerting authorities.

The group decides to move the corpse to 14C, where Mary lives, hoping she can help. When they arrive, the door opens and a dog dashes out, prompting Meghan to accuse the dog of biting the man. Mary rejects the accusation, claiming the dog is Buddhist and arguing that harming it would affect reincarnation.

A man steps out of the elevator identifying himself as Bear from 14D. To avoid suspicion, everyone falsely claims the corpse belongs to him, amplifying the deception. Messi, Bear’s son, also appears, adding to the tension as plans evolve.

Lee escapes while luring Messi to drink beer, then pursues the residents moving the corpse toward the rooftop using a suspended platform. The platform jams at the 14th floor, forcing everyone to improvise as they try to keep the corpse out of reach. The chase increases the danger of discovery.

Boron kicks Lee down the stairs, but Lee collapses from a heart attack and dies. The sudden death removes one pursuer from the problem, yet it also complicates their already fragile situation. The incident raises the stakes for the remaining plan.

With Lee out of the picture, the platform remains jammed, and the group desperately stalls the corpse from entering any home. They scramble to find a workable alternative as the night wears on. The risk of exposure grows with every passing moment.

Sue proposes sneaking the corpse under her bridal gown during a tea ceremony the next day to avoid attention. Hearing the moans from the grave confirms the corpse is alive, forcing the group to act quickly to retrieve him. The ending leaves their secret still in jeopardy as they wrestle with what comes next. The film closes on a note of unresolved consequences.
