In 1969, Kenji and his classmates build a secret summer base and record imagined battles against world‑conquering villains in a Book of Prophecies. By 1997, Kenji runs a convenience store, having abandoned his rock‑star dreams. His routine is shattered when a former schoolmate dies mysteriously, a family vanishes, and a cult led by “Friend” begins reproducing the prophecies exactly, hinting the foretold apocalypse is unfolding.
