In the 16th century, French astrologer Nostradamus foretold the world's end in 1999, predicting cataclysms and widespread chaos. To avert this disaster, a group of children, including young Kappei, are sent to a Japanese island to master the mystical Mukai Sappuken martial art. However, Nostradamus’s prediction proves inaccurate, and in 2022, the children’s master sends them to live ordinary lives. Kappei struggles to adapt to Tokyo, facing personal challenges and forming unexpected friendships while grappling with newfound emotions. However, a confrontation with some of his comrades looms, forcing him to confront his destiny.
