On his way back, Philip discovers Celeste's naked dead body in her trailer. Sheriff Brenner finds him and escorts him back to the vacation home, joining the tense group. The discovery confirms the danger everyone is in.

Back at the house, Maggie is accidentally shot by the sheriff and the sheriff is promptly killed by Randall. The violence escalates and the balance of power shifts again. The trio's survival hinges on quick, harsh choices.

Randall chases Alexandria; she turns the tables by shooting him. With the threat finally neutralized, Philip and Alexandria embrace and seek safety together.
