As they venture out into the city, bolstered by shared sorrows and laughter, a chance encounter with Simon, Eric, and Duncan propels Shae into a night filled with exhilaration and revelry. The group’s vibrancy is infectious, leading to an impromptu celebration at Eric and Duncan’s apartment. As the night of drinks and dancing wanes, Shae experiences an impulsive kiss with Simon, a moment that temporarily distracts her from her heartache. However, as she gazes into the bathroom mirror, the reality of her choices begins to loom large.

Upon returning home in a taxi with Simon, whose affections she rebuffs, an alarming turn of events occurs when he assaults her at her doorstep. After obtaining the whereabouts they seek, the duo pursues Simon to his secluded workshop, mercilessly overpowering him and indulging in a gruesome punishment that culminates in his demise.

Their thirst for vengeance doesn’t end there; they set their sights on Terry, ambushing him at gunpoint. This tense encounter leads them to an isolated area in the woods, where Lu finishes the job, leaving Shae both relieved and troubled. Days later, Shae is surprisingly invited by her classmate Tyler to a fair, where she temporarily forgets her troubles, only to return home and find Lu waiting, upset at her tardiness. A Halloween party with Tyler turns disastrous when Lu, hidden in the shadows, takes advantage of the situation and brutally ends Tyler’s life. In the aftermath, Shae discovers the horror left behind, only for Lu to emerge and reveal her motives—asserting that her actions were for Shae’s protection.

In a horrific twist of fate, love turns to betrayal as Shae retaliates violently, wielding Lu’s sword in a climactic moment of revenge. As Shae struggles with the aftermath, returning to her job at the bar, she remains haunted by her experiences. In a poignant finale, Lu’s ghost appears, reminding Shae that certain scars never truly heal, leaving an eternal mark on her psyche.
