Waqt Hamara Hai

Vikas Sabkuchwala is a college student who struggles with his exams, a challenge that deeply troubles his father, Dinanath Sabkuchwala, a man known for his tight-fisted, blunt approach to money and life. Despite the friction at home, Vikas keeps his hopes up, nursing a quiet affection for his colleague, Ayesha Vidrohi. Meanwhile, Dinanath’s accountant’s nephew, Sunil Chaudhary, arrives in Mumbai with a history of trouble in Haryana—expelled from several colleges for his rough, combative nature. Sunil’s arrival sparks a chain of events that tests loyalties, courage, and the fragile line between right and wrong.

In a bid to steer Sunil toward a fresh start, his uncle arranges his admission into the same college as Vikas, riding on Dinanath’s firm recommendation. On the very first day, Sunil is transformed for appearances’ sake—dressed up to look like a studious nerd so that his notorious temper doesn’t flare up in class. As the city hums around them, Sunil’s path crosses with Mamta, Mamta Vidrohi, when she faces a car trouble that Sunil helps to fix—lifting the vehicle with surprising ease. The moment leaves Mamta impressed by his strength and his uncomplicated, straightforward charm.

Within the college corridors, a rough start between Vikas and Sunil gives way to a more complex bond. Vikas playfully tries to rag Sunil, but a life-risking moment soon reveals a different truth: when Sunil saves Vikas from a deadly fall off a building, the two men begin to earn each other’s trust, and even a reluctant friendship grows out of danger and mutual reliance. This fragile alliance will soon be crucial as a far darker plot unfolds.

Meanwhile, a group of terrorists led by Col. Chikara slips through the net of law enforcement, leaving chaos in their wake. In a tense chase, they abandon a bag containing Crypton—an advanced nuclear missile technology—inside Vikas’s car and then vanish. They return later, desperate to reclaim Crypton, and this time they kidnap both Vikas Sabkuchwala and Ayesha Vidrohi, forcing Sunil to deliver the dangerous payload. The turn of events pulls Sunil into a perilous mission: he locates Crypton and, with Mamta by his side, sets out to move it to safety.

What follows is a sequence of daring escapes and calculated risks. Sambo and other elements of Chikara’s gang become pawns in a larger game of cat and mouse, as Sunil and Vikas narrowly outrun danger and figure out how to outwit an enemy that seems steps ahead at every turn. Vikas and Sunil stage a dramatic break from Chikara’s grip, leaving Ayesha and Mamta to fend for themselves and do some of the enemy’s work from within the shadows. The two men then turn the tables, returning to confront the danger, neutralizing several of Chikara’s lieutenants, and guiding Ayesha and Mamta toward safety.

In the climax, the plan to deliver Crypton is tempered by a race against time and an effort to avert catastrophe. The duo’s perseverance pays off as they manage to rescue Netaji from a perilous situation and disrupt Colonel Chikara’s overarching scheme. The fight culminates in Chikara’s demise, bringing a hard-won sense of relief and safety to those caught in the web of this dangerous conspiracy.

The story closes on a note of cautious optimism: the immediate threat is gone, the immediate danger to the main characters has been averted, and the bonds of friendship—between Vikas and Sunil, between Mamta and Sunil, and the trust rebuilt between the younger generation and the older guard—emerge stronger. It’s a tale that blends youthful ambition, street-smart resilience, and high-stakes action, delivering a panoramic snapshot of courage under pressure, the cost of violence, and the fragile hope that safe days can lie beyond the next night’s challenge.
