Voice from the Stone

On her deathbed at the family estate, Malvina imparts a significant message to her son Jakob. She assures him that another woman, who will love him deeply, will soon come into his life, promising that her voice will resonate through him when he speaks again.

Seven months later, British nurse Verena arrives at the estate, sent by Jakob's father, Klaus. Specialized in pediatric care, she is chosen for her ability to communicate with Jakob in his native tongue, aiming to fulfill Malvina's final wish.

During her initial days, Verena meets Alessio, the estate's keeper, and Lilia, the wise housemaid. They provide insights into the family’s history and the abandoned quarry that has long been a part of their lives.
