In a near‑future where a terminal disease spreads, the government declares carriers a capital crime and uses assassins to eliminate them. When the state is infected, a vaccine may lie within a lab technician’s body, so the regime sends its killer to silence her, forcing him to choose between obedience and risking his life and reputation.
