A ruthless trio of brothers, Aniket, Abhinay, and Rahul, run a French human trafficking ring. Police pursue them and intercept Rahul on a plane, turning the flight into a tense standoff. Rahul’s hostage-taking results in the officer in charge dying, who prophesies that Rahul will be killed by a good man.

Ganesh travels to Kolkata with his sister Tamizh to enroll her in an arts college. He befriends Kolkata Kaali, who helps them settle into a new house. Ganesh starts working at a taxi company under his boss Laxmidas.

Swetha, a lawyer, asks Ganesh to pose as a fake mute eyewitness for a case in exchange for not paying the fare. Ganesh answers a call in the presence of a judge, triggering Swetha’s dismissal and anger. Swetha attempts to kill Ganesh, but Laxmidas intervenes and saves him.

Swetha and Laxmidas briefly team up to take revenge on Ganesh. Over time, Swetha begins to soften toward him as she recognizes her mistake. Ganesh’s relationship with Tamizh and his personal danger begin to intersect.

Ganesh arranges Tamizh's marriage to Arjun, linking her safety to his ongoing exposure to danger. The arrangement signals that Ganesh is protecting Tamizh even as threats loom. The personal stakes rise as family ties come under pressure.

DCP Yashpal contacts Ganesh and the other drivers to report any activity by the crime syndicate. Ganesh identifies an arms trafficking case, increasing the tension. The investigation pulls the drivers deeper into the underworld’s web.

Aniket and his men capture Ganesh aboard a private boatyard. Ganesh fights off the attackers, defeats them, and ultimately kills Aniket. The murder reveals a ruthless, almost maniacal edge to Ganesh that shocks those around him.

News of Aniket’s murder brings Abhinay rushing back to India to investigate. Ganesh ambushes Abhinay’s squad during a tense confrontation and kills Abhinay. Swetha is horrified by the bloodshed and tries to reconcile with Ganesh.

The film shifts to a past where Ganesh is Vedalam, a ruthless thug-for-hire who is drawn into Tamizh’s world after a hospital meeting. A builder pressures Tamizh and her parents to sell, and Vedalam is hired but betrays them, driving them from their home. Traffickers later strike, and Vedalam intervenes to save Tamizh, beginning his transformation.

Vedalam’s misdeeds create tension, but when Tamizh and her parents fall into danger, Vedalam rescues them and insists he is her brother. He takes care of Tamizh while keeping his past hidden. Ganesh works to keep this ruthless identity secret from Tamizh.

In the present, Ganesh asks Swetha not to reveal his past to Tamizh, and Swetha agrees to support the arranged marriage. Rahul intensifies the search for Ganesh’s killer, using a captured victim to uncover clues. Tamizh is hired by Rahul to draw a forensic sketch, tightening the trap.

Ganesh counteracts by abducting the son of Rahul’s henchman to pressure for Tamizh’s freedom. The move escalates the confrontation and spreads fear through the underworld. Tamizh’s safety becomes the battleground.

Rahul grabs Tamizh, triggering a furious pursuit through crowded Kolkata streets. A Navratri procession blocks the path, turning the chase into a deadly stand-off. Tamizh urges Ganesh to shoot Rahul to end the danger.

Ganesh fires at Rahul from a safe angle to protect Tamizh, distracting her and killing Rahul. With the danger ended, Ganesh and Tamizh return home, and Tamizh’s wedding to Arjun is celebrated, bringing a sense of peace to their lives.
