Satya Jadhav lives with his father Dinkar in Mumbai and dreams of playing for the Indian cricket team. He struggles to raise money and opportunities to join a cricket club, aiming to secure a place with the local Railways team.

Satya meets Nisha and, after a few misunderstandings, the two grow close and fall in love. Their budding romance faces opposition from family expectations and Nisha's disciplined upbringing.

Nisha's disciplinarian Naval father and circumstances separate the couple. Nisha promises to return, but she never does, leaving Satya heartbroken and directionless.

The heartbreak drives Satya into a deep depression. He turns to alcohol and begins to lose focus on his cricket dreams as his life stalls.

Shravani, Satya's neighbor who has loved him since childhood, watches his misery and eventually agrees to marry him several years later after sensing their shared pain.

Satya does not work and relies on Shravani's salary, while he often relives memories of Nisha and clings to alcohol, keeping his cricket ambitions in the background.

In Delhi, Satya goes to help select a youth cricket team and unexpectedly meets Khushi, who is Nisha's daughter. He also learns from Nisha's father that Nisha and her husband Kunal died in an accident.

Moved by Nisha’s memory and Khushi’s presence, Satya decides to take Khushi in as a ward and trains her as a cricketer, honoring Nisha’s wish. He brings Khushi back to Raigad to begin training.

Satya and Shravani decide to adopt Khushi, but she makes their adoption conditional on them sorting out their own problems and not distance themselves. They agree to work on their relationship while preparing for Khushi's future.

Satya begins to realize Shravani's deep love for him and chooses to let go of his painful past for a fresh start. He starts seeing potential happiness beyond sorrow.

Shravani, feeling misunderstood, decides to transfer to Nagpur to escape the tension at home, planning to leave Satya, Khushi, and Dinkar behind.

When Satya drops Shravani at the railway station, he confesses his love and apologizes for the past pains. Shravani decides to stay, and they share a kiss, signaling a hopeful new beginning.
