The film follows the final 67 days of Vincent van Gogh’s life. After his release from the asylum, he moves into Dr. Gachet’s home, continuing to paint while battling deteriorating mental health. He starts a romance with the doctor’s daughter, but she soon sees that his devotion lies solely with his art.
