After his beloved wife dies, a painter who claims to be the reincarnation of Vincent van Gogh exhumes her body with his necrophilic butler and uses it as ‘inspiration’ in his castle. He then lures a musician who is her double, only to have her uncover the butler’s habit of murdering young women and using their blood to tint the artist’s paints.
