Koti, a deaf-mute man, lives with his sister Devi in Kanyakumari, relying on odd jobs for survival. They were orphaned during the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami and were rescued and sheltered by a compassionate local priest. Despite his disability, Koti exhibits a strong sense of justice and a protective attitude towards others.

Tina, a local guide, has had a crush on Koti since childhood but remains indifferent to his feelings. She teases him frequently, which leads to physical altercations, yet she keeps pursuing him despite his indifference. Her persistent chasing reflects her deep affection for Koti.

Tina assists Koti in closing down a wine shop near the church, showing her support for his efforts to do what is right. This act signifies her growing bond with Koti and their shared concern for the community's safety and morality.

With Tina and Devi's help, Koti secures a position as a security guard and helper at Mira Orphanage, which is run by Saradha Devi. He bonds with the children, especially the visually impaired girls, forming strong emotional connections, and becomes a protector and caretaker.

One day, Koti uncovers three workers exploiting visually impaired girls by voyeuristically observing them during bathing. His sense of justice triggers a violent response, causing him to murder two of the perpetrators. He then voluntarily surrenders to the police, overwhelmed by guilt and anger.

During the court proceedings, Koti refuses to explain why he committed the murders, shocking everyone, including Devi. The judge, frustrated by his silence, sentences Koti to immediate imprisonment and orders a probe by DSP Kathiravan, who begins investigating the case.

DSP Kathiravan subjects Koti to a narco-analysis test to uncover the motive but fails to get any answers, as Koti remains resolute and silent even under sedation. The psychiatrist refuses to continue, citing health concerns for Koti.

Due to insufficient evidence, Koti is released on bail. However, he becomes obsessed with finding and punishing the third perpetrator who escaped capture. Devi grows increasingly frustrated with Koti's obsession with violence, fearing it will lead to tragedy.

Kathiravan uncovers that Devi is not Koti's biological sister and manipulates her emotionally to provoke Koti into revealing more. Ultimately, Koti tracks down and kills the third perpetrator after castrating him, fulfilling his revenge. The murders increase tensions and concerns within the community.

Kathiravan reviews the recordings from the narco-analysis, which reveal that the victims had misbehaved with the girls. The court hears testimony from the victims, leading to Koti's release as doubt remains over his guilt. The community celebrates his freedom but morale is fragile.

Devi, unaware of Koti's full story and motivated by fear that he will face the death penalty, takes her own life. Her tragic death devastates Koti, adding profound sorrow to his life and highlighting the emotional toll of the case.
