Kavya’s parents died in an accident during her childhood, leaving her to run Kavya Industries, a business empire that rests on her name. The enterprise is steered by her father’s longtime associate Rajasekhar, a shrewd operator who is visibly hungry for wealth and power. One day at work, [Rajasekhar] asks Kavya to sign an asset document, hinting at leverage beyond the balance sheet. He soon learns that Kavya and her friends had planned to celebrate New Year in Bora Bora, but their passports are currently on hold, locking that dream away. In a bid to keep control of the situation, Rajasekhar proposes a different destination: the Andaman Islands.
In Andaman, the group’s escapades grow increasingly reckless and loud. While dodging the police, they collide with a tribal man in their car, an act that sparks a troubling dilemma: there are no hospitals willing to treat him locally. Kavya decides to bring the injured man to Chennai for proper care. They travel to the airport, devise a disguise, and present the tribal man as a local with the name “K. Vaasi.” The plan succeeds enough to admit Vaasi to a city hospital, where Kavya later discovers that Vaasi is behaving aggressively. Returning home, she learns from their cook, Pandian, that the hospital had sedated Vaasi and quietly dropped him back in Kavya’s care. Pandian and his household then help Vaasi rehearse a more human, compliant demeanor, teaching him how to mimic normal social behavior.
Birthday celebrations bring new tensions. Kavya’s circle includes a powerful German project that [Rajasekhar] is eager to monetize, a fact underscored when a figure named Vicky reveals his dislike for Vaasi and hints at family entanglements with Kavya. A confrontation erupts: Vaasi bursts into the room just as Vicky grips Kavya, and the ensuing struggle ends with Vaasi brutalizing Vicky. Although Vaasi regains his senses, authorities are alerted and the police collar Vaasi in a net and haul him away.
At the hospital where Vicky is treated, authorities reveal grim news: Vicky has a severe neck injury requiring a lifelong cervical collar, and the German project’s paperwork remains in limbo. In Andaman, the police decide to relocate Vaasi to the forest and terminate him, a plan that Kavya and Pandian resist. They reach the forest headquarters just as Vaasi breaks free and kills several officers. The trio flees deeper into the jungle, pursued by the authorities. Vaasi proves formidable, and when he is captured and knocked down, a key confrontation unfolds with Shanmugam, a seasoned officer who discovers Vaasi’s true identity as Jara and learns that Vaasi’s people exist beyond the reach of the law.
Vaasi’s world expands as he reconnects with his tribe. In the forest, a young girl wanders into the danger zone and grows frightened at the sight of a tiger. Vaasi ends up saving her from the predator, yet the rescue leaves a deep mark—he also injures the tiger in the process. He tends to the girl’s wounds and escorts her back to the safety of his tribe. Meanwhile, the German company presses the Andaman police to clear the project, but the tribe refuses to relocate, insisting on staying where they are. Tensions escalate when Shanmugam orders the police to shoot the tribe; a turning point arrives when the daughter of Shanmugam—who turns out to be the girl saved from the tiger—voices the danger back to him, complicating loyalties and decisions.
A violent night follows: the shelters are set ablaze, the forest erupts into a brutal clash, and many lives are lost. Vaasi, Kavya, and Pandian are pulled into the chaos, and Vaasi’s strength is tested as he fights to survive the onslaught. The narrative then loops back to the opening moment, where Shanmugam warns Vaasi about the police. Vaasi escapes once more, and fate collides with the past as Kavya and Pandian accidentally strike Vaasi with their car while fleeing from law enforcement.
[Rajasekhar] returns from the US and arrives in Andaman just as the tension peaks. Kavya attempts to contact him, but the moment passes without a clear signal. At the police station, Rajasekhar declares that Kavya must return within 24 hours. In the forest office, a plan titled Project Zero is explained by a forest operations commander named Suryaprakash: multiple routes into the forest, and a forceful push to shrink the operational radius to zero. As the trio continues moving, a spy camera—disguised as a bird—tracks their every step, and the authorities tighten their grip through the night.
Dawn reveals the bitter truth: Kavya confronts the consequences of the documents she signed at the film’s outset, and Rajasekhar uses the pages as leverage to abduct Kavya. In a fierce confrontation, Rajasekhar shoots Vaasi, and Kavya rushes to him in a bid to intervene. Vaasi fights back against the police, but Kavya’s plea for mercy resonates, and she convinces Vaasi to restrain himself. Rajasekhar spares Vaasi after Kavya’s interference, and he urges Kavya to come away with him. Yet Kavya refuses to be drawn back into the cycle of power and money, choosing instead to sever ties with her industrial empire. In the final act of defiance, Kavya commands Rajasekhar to leave, and the man exits without laying blame on anyone.
In this sweeping, action-filled journey, loyalties shift, identities blur, and a land’s future becomes a battleground between corporate interests and a people who demand care for their ancestral home. The film closes on a note of hard choices and uneasy truces, with Kavya stepping away from her inherited wealth and choosing a path that foregrounds responsibility over possession.
