In the final stretch of Vaashi, the courtroom showdown forces Ebin and Madhu to confront both the case and the widening rift in their marriage. When Saira’s testimony reveals that Anusha’s feelings were never clearly communicated to Gautham, the prosecution’s key evidence collapses. Ebin realizes that the misunderstanding stems from Anusha’s silence, not from Madhu’s legal arguments, and he confronts her about the missed conversation that could have prevented the tragedy.

Seeing the damage the case has done to his wife, Ebin finally heeds Satheesh’s urging and seeks reconciliation. He abandons his car, hops on his bike, and rides to Madhu’s house. The scene ends with the couple embracing, tears flowing freely, a silent acknowledgment of the pain they’ve endured.

The next day the judge delivers the verdict: although it cannot be proven that Gautham promised marriage, the court finds that he had sex with a drunk Anusha, constituting a crime.
