In bustling Chicago, we meet Mark Warren, a tow truck driver, who experiences a sudden distraction while driving. This leads to him losing control of his truck, resulting in a collision with construction barriers that causes the vehicle to roll over, leaving him injured with a broken arm.

As emergency crews arrive to assist Warren at the accident scene, a firefighter discovers a hidden firearm among the wreckage of the truck. This hidden weapon is handed over to the police, unknowingly setting off a chain of events that will complicate Warren’s life further.

Warren is taken to the hospital where his French girlfriend, Marie, pays for his medical treatment. Just as he prepares to leave, police arrive and arrest him due to possessing the gun found in his vehicle, revealing that he is linked to a federal arrest warrant for a double homicide.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard and his team are actively staked out at an apartment complex, aiming to capture the fugitive Conroy brothers. Disguised as a chicken mascot to promote his food truck, Gerard keeps a close watch until the fugitives arrive, prompting a chaotic arrest.
